Mindmeister Pricing
MindMeister offers several pricing plans:
- Basic: Free per user, forever. This includes up to 3 mind maps, unlimited map collaborators, MeisterTask Integration, and MS Teams Integration.
- Personal: $6.50 per user/month. This includes unlimited mind maps, up to 2 attachments per map, PDF and image export, mind map printing, and 7-day version history.
- Pro: $10.50 per user/month. This includes unlimited attachments, Word export, PowerPoint export, custom colors, and unlimited version history.
- Business: $15.50 per user/month. This includes group sharing, compliance exports and backups, and priority email & phone support.

Payment Method
MindMeister currently accepts payment via card or PayPal.
To add or change a payment method, follow these steps:
- Click the user avatar in the top-right corner of the MindMeister interface.
- Select Account from the drop-down menu.
- Click Billing on the left side of the accounts page.
- Click Add a payment method or click the pen icon next to an existing payment method to edit it.
- Choose whether to pay by card or via PayPal.
- Enter the billing information and click Save.
Remember, each Meister product is billed separately, so a unique payment method can be chosen for each product currently owned. Happy shopping!

How To Open A Mindmeister Account?
To open an account on MindMeister, follow these steps:
- Visit www.mindmeister.com to access the MindMeister dashboard.
- Click the plus icon (+) at the top of the dashboard to create a new mind map.
- Double-click the central (root) topic in your mind map to name your map.
- Press ENTER to create sibling topics.
- Press TAB to create subtopics.
Once you've created your new mind map, you'll be taken to the map editor. From here, you can create new topics and subtopics using only two keys: TAB and ENTER.
Right-click any topic to open the styling toolbar and perform advanced actions. The styling toolbar contains five separate tabs: Actions, Style, Icons, Layout, and More Options (...).
Choose one of MindMeister's auto-layout options to quickly organize your topics. If you'd prefer to manually drag and drop topics on the canvas, you can also disable auto-layout.
Share your mind map with other users via e-mail invitation or a shareable link to collaborate in real time. You can also assign other users read-only or editing privileges to protect your data and work together more effectively.

Mindmeister Return Policy?
MindMeister's return policy is as follows:
Consumers are entitled to full refunds under the following conditions:
- Right of revocation: The refund request is received within 14 days of the original purchase. This applies to an initial purchase, as well as for upgrades (only for the additional licenses).
- Auto-renewal and termination: Consumers have the right to cancel the paid version at any time after the minimum usage period (initial term) has expired, with a notice period of one month. If the subscription is renewed for another year after the initial term and the subscription is canceled right after renewal, customers will receive a refund for 11 of the 12 months.
For Business users:
- No revocation right: Business customers do not have a right of revocation after initial purchase or upgrades.
- Auto-renewal: Business customers can be auto-renewed for additional terms after the initial term. There is no refund for renewals.
- Termination: The termination period according to Meister’s order forms is 30 days to the end of the current term. Customers can downgrade at the time of the next renewal if a termination notice was sent less than 30 days before the current term ends.
To submit a refund request, reach out to the support staff. A member of the team will reach out and address your case individually. For mobile subscriptions purchased via the App Store or Google Play Store, please reach out to Apple Support or Google Play Support. If you have a dedicated Success Manager and would like to cancel your contract, please reach out to the Accounts team. If you don't have a dedicated Manager and are having trouble cancelling your subscription, reach out to MindMeister Support.
Individual users can downgrade or cancel their subscription. Canceling your subscription will downgrade your license to the free Basic plan at the end of the current license period. To completely close your account, you’ll first need to cancel your subscription to all Meister Products. After you’ve cancelled your subscriptions, the link to close your account can be found at the bottom of Plans. Closing one Meister Account will affect your subscriptions to all Meister products (i.e. MeisterTask and MindMeister). All your personal data will be permanently deleted upon the closure of your account. However, for legal reasons certain data will be kept for a limited period of time and will not be deleted immediately upon the closure of your account.
